I never intended to spend 16 plus years chasing the truth.
In fact, if you had met me back then before I hosted talk radio, you probably would have laughed at the idea.
I was the FARTHEST thing from a political junkie. 
I was raising kids and busy being a wife and reading People magazine. 
Yes, I am admitting that.
I watched mainstream news but considered myself pretty conservative.
Still am. (But boy do I question BOTH sides of the aisle , as in the political parties. It's been eye-opening).
I wasn't a political junkie.
I wasn't glued to the news.
Then something unexpected happened.
A vacancy opened for a radio host.
I agreed to fill in. ( Long story- it was actually quite spiritual, honestly- but I will save that for another day)
The truth is, my first year in talk radio was rough.
Really rough. And I felt like a total idiot. 
And I almost quit many times.
Public humiliation was not on my bingo card, you know? 
I knew so little about politics and government that listeners would sometimes call in and openly joke about how much I didn't know.
But something inside me kept telling me I was exactly where I was supposed to be.
Call it faith.
Call it intuition.
I call it God.
Whatever it was, I knew I was supposed to stay.
And I was supposed to study.
But what do I study? Which books? What direction?
The deeper I dug, the more questions I had.
I started realizing that MUCH of what I believed had been built on narratives that didn't hold up under scrutiny. Things did not make sense.
The stories we are told about how the world works.
Nothing was off limits.
Before long, I was hosting nationally syndicated radio programs and interviewing well-known national guests daily.
I guest-hosted for nationally recognized radio personalities.
I built a career doing what I loved.
But something strange started happening.
The more I shared...
The more resistance I encountered. A "career" wasn't going to be allowed.
I found myself facing a choice.
Stay quiet and advance my career and stay within the prescribed talking points...
Or keep telling people what I was finding.
I kept digging.
I don't like predictions, but I started being RIGHT when I would say what I thought was going to happen, or what the truth was behind a news story, I figured that I must be on the right track, right?
Late nights became normal.
Praying for wisdom became normal. I found myself on my knees, a lot. 
Truth has a cost.
But it also has a reward. Peace and purpose are excellent rewards.
Because once you begin seeing things clearly...
You can't un-see them.
Lies leave you confused. 
Truth does not. 
It's not a "political divide" in this country causing anger as much as it is the absence of truth and knowledge for all of us.
Truth would enable more peace. 
To become at least CURIOUS about things that do NOT make sense.
To become impossible to manipulate.
So let me ask you something.
If you knew someone spent over 35,000 hours researching the stories behind the stories...
Wouldn't you want to know what they found?
So, at the very least, hear me out.
 I'm a normal person who got a chance to peer inside the media and really study things. 

I'm sharing with you what I've found.
